At El Asilo del Libro, we value literary heritage and authenticity. Being part of associations such as LIBRIS —the Association of Antiquarian Booksellers of Madrid— connects us with more than 39 specialized bookshops across Spain, allowing us to take part in events like the Autumn Fair of Old and Second-hand Books. We are also members of the Iberian Association of Antiquarian Booksellers (AILA), founded in Barcelona in 1990, which since 1993 has been part of the prestigious International League of Antiquarian Booksellers (ILAB) —a federation comprising 22 national associations and more than 1,600 rare bookshops in 39 countries.
